Hello Yes, I did find that marriage record.I do think itis mine, Infact quite sure it is.All the children (girls) are in my family tree, plus the ages are right. They had two daughters Catherine and Helen in Govan, Scotland.I found on the marriage record that James McGoldrick father was John McGoldrick and his mother Catherin Flinn. Helen Fitzpatrick's mother was Helen Rae and father Patrick Fitzpatrick (He was a Blacksmith) I found my gt.grandfather James McGoldrick born Irelandon the 1881 census in Jarrow England.By this time he was a widower, but had two other daughters my Grandmother. The first two are not listed with him. They could be married or ?? RoseAnn McGoldrick age 8 (correct age of what my grandmother age would have been and she was born in Hebburn, England) and a sister Ann who is 16.I have never found any sons born as of yet
I receiveda very good family history from another family named McGoldrick in Ireland the Cavan, Monaghan area.
I could not find a solid connection to my line, But, I would be glad to review it if maybe it can help you.So please let me know
It looks like only my Grandmother changed the name to Goldie when she got to Scotland. My grandfather's paper trail he always used McGoldrick.I still have to find his death record and Helen Fitzpatrick McGoldrick death record.I think they both died in England in the Hebborn/Jarrow area.
