Sorry to throw another branch into the Goldsworthy tree but I'm currently doing some research on my family line following the recent death of my grandmother (Bertha Goldsworthy) at the ripe old age of 104.I've read everything on this sight posted re Goldsworthy and none appears linked to me so I'm starting from scratch. It also appears that the Goldsworthy's have alot of branches and the spelling has changed to-and-fro so tracking is rather difficuly. The only info I have is as follows:
John Goldsworthy (c1740-?) who married ? Had Thomas Goldsworthy (1769-?) who married Susanne Picot of Jersey Channel Islands. Had John Goldsworthy (1801-1875) who married Elizabeth Righton. Had Alfred Goldsworthy (1842-1907) who married Elizabeth Bailey (I'm curious as to whether she is related to the Dr Goldsworthy Bailey that seems to pop up all over the Internet?).Alfred married a second time to Emma Emmerton (1862-1907) in 1881. Alfred and Elizabeth had Alfred Ernest Goldsworthy (1867-1946), an ironmonger born in Bristol England, died Sydney Australia. He married Annie Jessie Clark (1867-1946) who was born in Muswellbrook NSW Australia. They had a son Neil Ernest Goldsworthy (my grandfather) and a daughter Doris Goldsworthy (1899-?), both born at 'Verona' Muswellbrook NSW Australia.Neil married Bertha Harriet Lawler (1899-2004) at Ipswich England who was born in Kilcormack, County Wexford, Ireland.Bertha's mother is Lucy St Aubyn and hence the connection to the St Aubyn's of Penzance.
