Goodhue Bros. bicycles win prizes, 1894

The two-speed bicycle, an invention of the Goodhue Brothers, of St. Charles, won three prize races in the Cincinnati races the 4th. This was the greatest cycling event in the country and included about two hundred of the best riders. Dodson, the rider of the two-speed, won first int he championship race and second prize on the other two principal races. The Inter Ocean states that his performance was the best of the day.
