Batavia (Illinois) Herald, Jan. 3, 1907:
An invention of two St. Charles men, J.E. and F.M. Goodhue, has proved itself to be a success. J.E. Goodhue has just returned to his home after a trip to Nebraska. During his stay there he placed several of his machines, which are patented corn pickers, in the fields. Others have been used and have proven highly satisfactory.
