I am a descendant of William Abraham "Abram" Gooding/Goodding and Elizabeth Randall/Randle thru their son John Randle Gooding and his wife Frances Lamond Brown
I keep seeing people putting the marriage date for Abraham and Elizabeth as 1766.Where did that come from? Here are sources that give the year of 1768.

There has been discussion about Elizabeth Randall/Randle and her birth year of 1732 and how she could not possibly be born that year because it would make her “to old” to have children (she would be 58 ½ years old when her last child Samuel was born), so she must have been born in 1747 like some people claim.I don’t necessarily agree with that assumption.
Here are some sources that back up Elizabeth Randall/Randle being born in 1732:
Source: Bucks County, Pennsylvania Church Records of the 17th & 18th Centuries Vol. 2 - George Randall/Randle married to Elizabeth Doane in 1722.Together they had two children: John and Sarah. (George’s first marriage) - Mary Comly married to Thomas Harding.Together they had six children: Mary, Thoams, Henry, Isaac, Abraham and unknown. (Mary’s first marriage) - George Randall/Randle married Mary (Comly) Harding in 1731.Together they had five children: twins Elizabeth b.1732 and Jacob b.1732, Martha b.1734, George b.1736 and Phebe b.1739 (second marriage for both George and Mary)
Source: "Marriages Authorized by the Middletown Monthly Meeting of Friends Church, Bucks County, Pennsylvania 1685-1810," pp. 217-229 - Marriage August 10, 1722 - Randall, George & Doane, Elizabeth - Marriage October 16, 1731 - Randall, George & Harding, Mary (Comly)
Elizabeth's parents were married on October 16, 1731 - if Mary got pregnant on her "wedding night" her due date for the twins (Elizabeth and Jacob) would be July 23, 1732.The claimed birth date for the twins is July 12, 1732.Mary had her fifth and final child in 1739.
I have found and older cousin also named Elizabeth Randall (her uncle’s daughter) who was born in 1725 and married a James Hancock.
Where did the birth year of 1747 come from and what are the sources that back up that assumption???
