My belief is that James Goodrum's wife is Sarah Freeman, based on the following record:

Brunswick Co VA Deed Boos Vol 5, 1770-1775 (Bradley).Deed Book 11, Part 2, p. 596
Sary Freeman Goodrum of St. Andrew's Parish in Brunswick Co to Wm. Goodrum of same, 15 pd.All my dower rights to a 374 acre tract in sd parish, which descended to Wm. Goodrum as son & heir of James Goodrum dec'd who was my late husband.Wit: Wm. Gardner, James Jordon, Thomas Jordon, Peter Pelham Jr. CC.

Mary Ann Freeman was her daughter-in-law, and possibly a blood relation to Sarah, but I have not researched that line.
