Sarah married Thomas Nutter patriotson of John Huett Nutter and Ann Nutter in 1758 in Sussex Co,de. Thomas was born about 1739 in Sussex, DE. He died in Jul 1807 in Harrison Co,Wv. He was buried in Nutters Fort,Harrison Co,Wv.
b. abt 1739 in Sussex Co DE.d. Harrison Co WV jul 1708.
m. abt 1759 to Sarah UNKNOWN [someone said Goodwin but NO PROOF].In 1760 the Nutter fam moved to Rockingham Co VA and then to Augusta Co VA.Abt 1769 the fam moved to Fayette Co PA, where they lived until abt 1772, when they moved to the area of Clarksburg WV. TN served the Colonies in the Rev. War as an Ensign in Capt. William Lowther's Company.Thomas built Nutter's Fort in Harrison Co WV, 1772-1774 on Elk Creek, now a suburb of Clarksburg, Harrison Co WV, now the site of Roosevelt-Wilson High School.

per DAR 799848@831 TN was a Capt in Rev War. Assisted the construction of Fort Nutter in Prince Georges Co MD.
"Thomas Nutter entered his homestead of 400 acres about 2 miles from Clarksburg WV on the west side of Elk Creek and on the road to Buckhannon in 1775 and preempted 1000 acres adjoining. On this tract was built the famous Nutter's fort, which was a harbor of refuge for the neighborhood during the Indian wars. The census of 1782 shows that he had a family of 8 in that year." per History of Harrison County.
