Hi Christie, This is Awesome!I have been trying to find something on her for almost 20 years, but nothing really connected. Reuben Step was "word of mouth" down thru the generations as her father, she was captive of a Cherokee Chief by that name, but I have yet to confirm anything on paper, possibly due to the spelling or maybe just not the right given name. Robert Hampton I have as a date of death as 1914 in Ohio not sure if that is correct. They were burried in Radnor Cem., Delaware Co., in Ohio. I do have small pictures of both of them as well as one of my grandmother Mattie Grace. Also one of her brother Orville & wife Syl.I have tried thru all of my aunts and uncle's to get info but they only have what has been "told" to them. It seems I'm the only one interested! I have lots of the Emberton side back to England thru our cousin Elizabeth Bailey & Janet Emberton.I haven't had any contact with Elizabeth for the last couple years, don't know if something happened to her or not. Sorry it took me so long to get back to my comp., had to make a 10 day trip to Missouri, Whiteman AFB, to welcome my first great grandchild. You may email me @firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks so very much!Cousin, Loletta (Goolsby/Emberton) Hall...........same line, but I have Alice Waldrop married to Richard Emberton, was she married to more than one Emberton???
