Your post is old, but I just happened upon it.I have the Gordanier's of MI in my family tree.Most are from Washtenaw County (Manchester, MI).

My great-grandmother was Iris Melow (Gordanier) born in 1912.Her parents were Ben Anthony and Ivy Gordanier (Love).I pretty much have a road block when it comes to Ben's ancestry.I am currently working on it.Here is a listing from the Manchester Cemetary:
