Prince Georges County Court Records 1710-1717 Book E, Page 103 WILLIAM HUTCHERSON to JAMES GORE Indenture made the 10th day of January 1711 Between WILLIAM HUTCHERSON Merchant of Prince Georges County of one part and JAMES GORE planter of the aforesaid County Witnessed the said WILLIAM HUTCHERSON for divers good cause and consideration thereon to moving for he rents and covenants thereafter in this Indenture express and have Lett and Farm Lett unto the said JAMES GORE a certain piece of land lying upon Rock Creek upon the Potomack River contains seventy five acres of land called or known by the name of Nine Yard for the full term and space of 10 years unto the said JAMES GORE..........that JAMES GORE shall live on or hold the said land the first year Rent Free.............to pay afterward to the said WILLIAM HUTCHERSON 500 (must be pounds but is not stated) of good clean Merchant tobacco cask for and during the term ofnine years.
