I have an added new reason for seeking my Great-Grandpa's gravesite.I'm now enrolled in Sons of Confederate Veterans; altho' I have a Johnny Reb from Tenn. on my mother's side, Wm. Robert GRAHAM is the nearest and most direct ancestor for purposes of enrollment.
I'm already planning to visit the Civil War battlefield at Spotsylvania Court-House (Va.) on 12 May 2014 -- 150th anniversary of his wounding there, while fighting under Gen. Lee.and I sure would love to at some point and date visit his grave. My Grandpa Graham is buried in Boise, Idaho (where he had moved later in life) and indeed I'd visited that grave many a 30 May (Memorial Day traditional) in my boyhood. And my Dad is still quite among the living, so Wm. Robert's is the next grave in my direct line which I've not visited.
So it would be quite meaningful to yours truly to visit the grave of Wm. Robert GRAHAM in Pike Co. Ga. (or wherever he's buried). And I'll be so grateful to the one who can tell me its location!
