I haave found this discussion to be most interesting. I have just recently found the parents of my great-great grandmother, Alice Rebert Gram. Alice is the 10th child, as determined through the censuses of Springfield township, Clark County, OH, of 1850, 1860, and 1870, of Cornelius Gram, born 1806, PA, and Martha Landis, born 1820, OH or PA. Several interesting notes concerning these census: in 1850, one of the members of the household is one Henry Gram, age 46; in 1860, the family is living next door to Jacob Gram, age 43, and his wife Isabella. Also in this household is one David Gram, age 38. David & Hannah Otstot live on the opposite side of Jacob as Cornelious. The 1870 census still shows Cornelious and Jacob to be neighbors. The 1880 census shows a Paige family between Cornelious and Jacob, and the family of William & Mary Otstot now on the opposite side of Jacob. Are all these Gram folks brothers, and are the Otstot's cousins by marriage?
