Since it's been slow over this way, I thought I would post some new sources and thoughts for my GRANDON information: Copy of pages 131, 132 from book "A History of Greene County, PA" by Rev Wm Hanna, C 1882, naming William GRANDON (b.c. 1774) as the son of Edward GRANDON (b. 12 June 1744) of Richhill Twp, Greene, PA. This same book names Ezekiel GRANDON as the son of William GRANDON. This book refers to Ezekiel's great-uncle John DAVIS (killed in the Indian Massacre of Oct 1787). Edward GRANDON was living on John DAVIS's land in a sheriff's deed poll from 1798. If Ezekiel was John DAVIS's grand-nephew, that would mean that:# 1-John DAVIS married Edward GRANDON's sister; # 2- Edward GRANDON married John DAVIS's sister; or # 3-John DAVIS and Edward GRANDON married sisters of a different surname. Also, Waynesburg, PA Quarter Session lists (from the Fordyce site) which name Edward GRANDON as a Constable of Richhill Twp, Greene, PA from 1797-1801, different page #'s. This is the first time I have seen references to Edward GRANDON other than the few times he was in the census. Also, here is the D.A.R. information regarding Edward GRANDON:AR RECORD: # 561206 A726. DAR RECORD: # 0682643 A705 (A763), dated 19 April 1996.
