I'm really pretty much in the dark about this family.I know that a cousin of my grandfather probably emigrated to either Trenton, New Jersey (according to what I remember my granma telling me) or to Yonkers N:Y. according to what an 80 year old aunt told me a few weeks ago. I think the cousin was john symon who was born in Keith, Banffshire. According to my aunt one of John's daughters possibly married a Grassick who may have been a dentist.As you can see, all this is hearsay and unfortunately those who know the true story are dead but my aunt is sure that we have Grassick relatives in the U.S.A.We had a lot of carpenters in our family but I don't know what this branch did. Thesurname Grassick is most common in the north-east of Scotland in Morayshire, Banffshire and district.If you know your Scottish ancestor's name and approximate date of birth tracing him should not be too difficult especially if he was born after 1855 when civil registration started.
