I think it's just possible I may have a connection with Emma Elizabeth Sewell (nee Grigg) too.
I know she married Edward Sewell in 1890. Do you happen to know what became of them both after the 1901 Census, by any chance?
I notice that there is the marriage of an Emma Eliza Sewell, possibly to an Arthur Thompson, in June Qtr 1902 Edmonton District. My Arthur Thompson (full name Arthur Herbert Thompson) died in 1930, aged 60, at Islington District and the informant on the death certificate is named as E E Thompson, Widow.
If the two Emma E Sewell's are one and the same person then I assume that Edward Sewell died young, although I haven't found an entry for him yet in the Death Indexes.
Arthur Herbert Thompson was a Fishmonger/Fish Fryer, originally from Maidstone, but living in the Battersea/Greenwich areas of London in the 1891/1901 period.
Although Emma E Sewell (nee Grigg) was born in Marylebone, it appears she sometimes regarded Camberwell as her place of birth.
Would appreciate any help you may be able to give me with this enquiry. Many Thanks Peter
