ROCK HILL, SC - Maggie Marian Gross Kirkpatrick, 108, of 1611 Constitution Blvd., Rock Hill, formerly of Fort Lawn, widow of Frank Kirkpatrick, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Barron Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Cedar Shoals Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Richburg, with the Rev. John Rumford officiating.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born Jan. 26, 1897, in Chester County, the daughter of the late Andrew Johnson Gross and Lenora Ferguson Gross. She retired as associate post mistress of Fort Lawn Post Office. She was a member of Fort Lawn United Methodist Church since 1933. She was a graduate of Bascomville High School. She was a resident of the Eastern Star Home of South Carolina at Sumter for 19 years, until the home closed in December of 2004. She was a member of Eastern Star Lancaster Chapter 146, where she was past matron, and also a member of Extension Homemakers Club for more than 50 years.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
