My grandfather was named "Rudolfo Guerrero" and he lived in San Antonio where I believe he was a judge.Supposedly he also worked as a highway patrolman prior to becoming a judge.
I know that he was referred to as "Rudy" Guerrero.
My biological father is named Antonio “Tony” Guerrero and is a trumpet player out of Austin. He played for well know Tejano Bands in the 60s & 70s recording close to (or more than) 50 albums.
I only met my father about 12 years ago and from what I can gather he was raised by his uncles (Trinidad Lopez & Vicente Lopez) in both San Angelo TX and later Northern California. My dad is a great person with tremendous talent. My new brothers and sisters (Laura, Cherith, Sergio, Sean and Alfredo) are all awesome people with beautiful personalities and equally talented musicians.
My dad’s mom (named Mini) was the sister of Trini & Vince.I learned that she died very young at the age of 26 from complications during an appendectomy due to poor anesthesia.
Rudy had children from a later marriage; however my father did not keep in touch with them.Personally, I sure would like to meet Guerrero's from his family.
My uncle Trini married (beautiful) Carolina and they had three children (Mini, Alberto, & Lonnie). My uncle Vince married my late aunt Lilly and they had a son (David) who passed away several years ago.
I just found my new relatives both here in CA and in TX and whom I love very much, and I am hoping there is a connection on the Guerrero side so that I can learn about my family history.
