Hi Debbie,
I am so exited to hear from you.I think there is a very good chance that your Timothy and mine are at least from the same Gunning line, and more than likely the same
Timothy and Maria.
I have a great deal of info on them. Here goes,
Timothy Joseph Gunning, born with Gunning spelled Gunnan, April 09,1849 in Roxbury, Ma.
His parents were Timothy J. and Margaret(Donovan)Gunning.
He married Maria Carney, on Sept. 10,1868 in Boston Ma.She born Ireland abt 1849. Her father was William.
Children of Timothy and Maria, taken from the 1880 Boston census, Vol.31 Ed.766 Sheet 22 Line 20.
Maggie M. age 10
Mary K. age 9
Stephen age 8
Timothy W. age 5(my ggrandfather)
Elizabeth age 4
Isabella age 2
Robert age 6 months
and I found two other children born after 1880
Joseph J. born 1882
Alice born 1884
They lived on Lamartine St. in the J.Plain area of Boston.
Maria died on 1 Dec.1919. She was 70 yrs.
Timothy died onMay 29, 1927. He was 78 yrs. 1 month 26 days.
