Olof Olsson Haglund born 1 Apr 1866 on Hojden Farm, Grasmark, Varmland Sweden. His father Olof Olsson and mother Stina Svensdotter and a sister Melvina remained in Sweden. Younger brother Otto was the first to come to North America via ship, then Olof and John (the oldest brother). Ole/Olof and John emigrated 21 May 1888 (changed name to Haglund on boat). All three brothers went to Menominee Michigan and Ole, Otto and John lived together in a boarding house. Ole married Anna Nelson in 1892 and all of their 6 children were born in Menominee MI.
