Dear Cousins Gene & Barbara, I also have a copy of "Early Carolina Heilmans 1736 - 1800" which was sent to me for inclusion in the Hallman Family Association's library by the son of the author. I'll contact him and ask if he has any more copies, and I'll let you know. It might not be what you're looking for, though. It tracks the families of Andrew, John Wendel, & Conrad Hallman/Heilman/Holman, whom the author assumes to be brothers. There has not (as yet) been any connection confirmed between any of these three men and the Anthony Hallman of Montgomery County, PA. Along the same vein, can you cite your source/sources for the line from Anthony Hallman to Ambrose Hinkle Hallman? Isaac Powell Hallman lists Ambrose Hinkle Hallman's parents as Daniel and Adaline Hallman, but he doesn't make a connection between this Daniel and any other Daniel listed in the rest of the book. There are a couple of us who theorize that the Anthony Hallman who appears in Lincoln County, NC,in the 1770's and who married Elizabeth Gingerich/Gingery, was the grandson of the PA Anthony Hallman via his older son, John. We're still searching for confirmation. If it's true, then we really ARE cousins! Happy New Year, and happy hunting!
