Hi Gary - from the information given in your post and the relationship calculator, I just found out your Grandfather George Arthur Hallmark is my 2nd cousin 2 times removed, making you my 4th cousin. Our common ancestors are John HALLMARK Branch 3 and Amy Anna SATTERWHITE.

I think your great-grandfather Nathan Thomas was possibly married three times, to: Frances Payne (Name may have been Frances Ann or Menerva Payne, daughter of James G and Carrye Payne), to: Minerva Hayes, and to Mary Harp. One of the sites I found said he had 14 children.
Just from Texas Death Certificate info, I found a sister: Eula Bell and (3) brothers: James David, John Orville, and Percy Zuland Hallmark - all born to Nathan Thomas and Frances Payne.

Also, there is a really good Satterwhite Family site which I can't recall just now that can add to your persons of interest.
We just have to remember that we must verify, verify, and verify.
