I am related to the Hallorans from Canandaigua, NY. Matthew and Thomas Halloran came to America from Ireland with their mother Honora in the 1860's. The brothers bought farms next to each other in Canandaigua. They had 8-10 children each. Around the 1890's they sold their farms and moved to Buffalo, NY where their secured jobs with the New York Central Railroad. They were very much "lace curtain" Irish and had their share of alcoholics. I am related to Matthew Halloran. They are all buried in Buffalo except for Honora who is buried in Canandaigua.
