ATT ALL HAMBROOK"S

By Von Hamrick February 18, 2005 at 02:31:17

My ancestor, Patrick Hamrick, came to America from either England or Ireland in 1700 when he was only 16 years of age. I am trying to find out who his parents were. His name in court records over an apprentiship was listed as Patrick Hambrok. He was accompanied by his 12 year old brother, Henry Hambrok and 16 year old cousin Roger Dey(or Day). They could have come on the ship "Squirrel of Bristol" co-owned by John Day. His descendants in America spell the name, Hamrick, Hambrick or Hambric. Many of us are trying to determine who his parents are and we have 43 markers of Y-DNA to use for comparison. I am looking for any suggestions that might help in this search. Please notify me if you have any information that will help.
