~ GAMELIN aka HAMELIN ~

Tanguay notes at the entry for Joseph Normand married to Agathe Gamelin (born in Detroit) that she was also know as "Hamelin".
It would seem, as in other cases (my Hubert/Hébert), that Agathe was known as both "G"amelin and "H"amelin, most probably due to french pronunciation.
The correct line to follow in this case is GAMELIN.
How did you arrive to Agathe Gamelin/Hamelin and Joseph Normand? Whose parents are they? And who was this child married to? With this information someone might be able to better help you.
Good Luck in your continued search!
