Just re-posting my HANDS interests.I now have HANDS in Tardebigg/Redditch, Bromsgrove and Kings Norton all in Worcestershire, England.Prior to about 1730 they may have come from Yardley.
If this is the case, then many of the Birmingham HANDS may well be connected.
I also have HANDS in Lancashire and a break away group from Kings Norton, in Cape Town, South Africa.Also escaping from Kings Norton were some who went to London.
I am also looking for information on Charles Eustace HANDS, war correspondent of the Daily Mail.He covered the Boer War amongst other things.A relative of his, Harry HANDS, was Mayor of Cape Town.
