EVALYN MARIE HANNA JANUARY 8, 1909
Evalyn Marie, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bloice Hanna, died on Monday (Jan.4)morning at eight o'clock at the home of her parents, one half mile north and two miles east of this city, after one week of hard suffering from cerebrum meningitis, being 11 months and 13 days old at the time of her death. Everything in the power of the little one's parents, relatives, doctor and nurses was done to save the dear life, but all in vain. It was the will of our Father that the little one was taken to a better world, where there is no more suffering. Little Evalyn, as everyone knew her, was always bright and happy everywhere, and everyone loved her. The funeral was held at the home, where a large gathering attended. The flowers were beautiful. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Will Pearson, of Waukeee, Iiowa, and Mrs. E.W. Stanford, of Ravenna, Ohio.
