Hello! I would really appreciate a copy of any records you may have. You mention a Martin Hanniganwho passed away at 5 months in your records. He may have been my grandfathers brother. My GF's name was Richard James Hannigan, and he was born in New York in 1893. My fathers name was Richard, also, and he had one brother,Patrick. My grandfather would talk about living in New York in his early years and would laugh and teach me Yiddish (we were all Roman Catholic, radically so, I strongly suspect Brotherhood roots). His surviving brothers name was James, and his sisters name was Alice, (very beautiful and very cranky). I have not been searching for very long as I have only recently discovered sources on the internet. I am delighted to have found you as I am very earnest in my quest. My batch of Hannigans is very TALL, does that seem to be the norm? I must know. My father was 6-5, My uncle is 6-4, my brother is 6-3, Great-Uncle Jim was 6-3, GF was 6 foot, and my nephew is another 6-3 in the making. I am the oldest of six children and my uncle has four kids (with many more kids from our batch) so would like to sort our roots out for the lot of us! I would love to communicate with you and any who may be family, however distant. Peace and love to you, Annie Hannigan.
