I am interested in your data, although I don't know that there is a connection. Do you have any idea where in England your William came from??—that would be useful in seeking a hook-up. Also his dates would be useful as well.
This Harbridge family, for which I am a researcher, is a William Harbage/Harbridg/Harbridge line; this William (b. ca 1695) was married to Eleanor and had 9 children that I know of; none was named William which makes me think I am missing a child or his William died young. 'Progenitor-William's,' son Thomas (b. 1732) and married to Elizabeth Moulsdale, however, did have a son William (b. ca 1788), All I know about him is that he married Mary Peacock.
Thomas and Elizabeth had another son, George Harbridge (b. ca 1792) who married 1)Sarah Brown and 2) Ellen Wright having also had a son William Wright Harbridge (b.1820). He married Hannah Wright and had three children that i know of—Elizabeth. George (who marr. Eliz Hamer and had a daughter Elizabeth) and Mary. That is all I know.
So you can see I do have William Harbridges who might be candidates if they had a second wife. I don't know their lines as well as I know that ofWilliam Wright Harbridge's brother, George Harbridge; he and his second wife Ellen Wright had a son, Thomas Harbridge (b. 1823), who brought his *whole* family to the Muskoka region north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada sometime after the death in Cheshire, England of his wife Lois Ann Hill in 1872.
If you see any possibility that our lines might intersect, please reply. Every intersection discovered usually leads to useful information for both sides!
