William Boyd Harl (known sometimes as "W.B.") supposedly was born in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky, in 1845. He said on an Oklahoma census that his parents came from Illinois. Fought for Union in Civil War. Married Melvinie Wilson who died soon after. Next, married Emma Rebecca Wilson, Melvinie's sister, who gave him 10 children. Emma died in 1908 in Atoka, Oklahoma. In 1912 married Emily Mallon (nee Collins) and had my father, Henry Reubin Harl. W.B. was in the timber business and owned land in East Texas and Oklahoma where he had saw mills and made and sold rail road ties to the railroads, especially the KATY railroad. I am looking for parents and siblings of W.B.
