MARIE KRAMER, 89, of George, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at George Good Samaritan Center.
Born June 17, 1917, in rural George, she was the daughter of Riner B. and Gertie Meester Harms. She married John “Bun” Edwin Kramer of George on Sept. 9, 1937, in Everly, Iowa. He preceded her in death.
She attended country school and George High School, graduating in 1934. After marriage, they lived in George, where she was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church and Ladies Aid. She moved to the Christian Retirement Home, Sheldon, in February 2003. She became a resident of George Good Samaritan Center in August 2006.
Surviving are one son, Norman (Cindy) Kramer, Rock Rapids, Iowa; four daughters, Mickey (Jerry) Goswick, George, Janelle (Steve) Gustafson, Storm Lake, Iowa, Janet (Bill) Myers, Wausau, Wis., and Darby Kramer (Dave Marsh), Mankato; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. today at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, George.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. today at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, George, with the Rev. Rick Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, George.
