Furthering my research and notations from an earlier posting in the Harvey forum (Message No. 5795 left March 21, 2010), the death certificate of Harry Hayler Harvey has been located.
Born to Alfred (1836 - 1922) and Elizabeth Foster George (1837 - 1912) on November 16, 1875, in Illinois, H. H. Harvey married Alice "Alie" M. Sickels (1881 - 1963) on October 8, 1914 in Jackson County, Missouri.Mr. Harvey was an attorney by profession, and at age 75 d. October 10, 1950, in Vernon County, Missouri. His wife, Alice Harvey, was the informant named on his death certificate, and he was interred in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
According to the Social Security Death Index, Alice M. Harvey passed away in Maryland in September 1963.Her parents were John Whitney Sickels and Stella Madora Sheldon, who met in Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan. They lived in Kansas City for a few years, where Alice and Harry met, and then returned to Michigan in the early 1920's to reside in Grand Ledge, Eaton County, the remainder of their lives.
Alice's passing in Maryland indicates that she may have resided with or near her brother Claud Hugh Sickels and / or two of his children Dorothy "Dot" Grasso or Margaret "Bobbie" Velebny, who lived in Bethesda.
While the above is a good amount of information, I am seeking the burial place of Alice M. (Sickels) Harvey.I am also seeking their notations in the 1930 US Federal Census.(I have a subscription to Ancestry.com but am not able to locate the 1930 record).
Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.
