Hello All,
I am from the Irish Hasson family - whose seat appears to be in County Derry. One theory about our family name is that it is an anglicisation of the Irish O'hOsain (son of the deer).Another theory is that the name arrived in Ireland from Spannish sailors, shipwrecked on the North coast during the Armada.
