The 1900 Census for Franklin Co. KS lists the following individuals:
Malinda J. Hasty (age 57) b. 1843 Otara E. Hasty (age 19) b. 1871 Mant W. Hasty (age 19) b. 1881 Wesley W. Hasty (age 57) b. 1843 Godfrey M. Hasty (age 53) b. 1847 Luvina Hasty (age 31) b. 1869 Samuel Hasty (age 21) b. 1879 Grant Hasty (age 32) b. 1868 Edna Hasty (age 25) b. 1875 Curtis Hasty (age 13) b. 1887
I do not have full access to the census records at this time, so I cannot tell you which individual belongs to which family group. However, I do know that Wesley W. Hasty and Godfrey M. Hasty were brothers, and they were born in KY.
Wesley's middle name was probably Willard and he is most likely the father or grandfather of Curtis Hasty. He was not Wesley William, as he had an older brother named William who was 3 years older. Godfrey's middle name was Murdoch.
In the 1850 Census, Division 2, Bath Co. KY is the following:
James Hasty (age 57) b. KY Farmer Sarah Hasty (age 41) b. KY John Hasty (age 24) b. KY Blacksmith Joseph Hasty (age 23) b. KY Blacksmith Franklin Hasty (age 17) b. KY Laborer Caroline Hasty (age 22) b. KY Mary Hasty (age 14) b. KY Rebecca Hasty (age 2) b. KY **Believed to be 12 not 2** William Hasty (age 11) b. KY Wesley Hasty (age 8) b. KY Eli Hasty (age 6) b. KY Murdoch Hasty (age 4) b. KY **First name Godfrey** Marcus L. Hasty (age 1) b. KY
I lose track of this family in 1860, and have so far been unable to find them. The Kansas Territory was open by 1860, however, and it could be they missed the census due to travel.
Hope this helps you and if you have anything further to add, please let me know and I will continue the search.
