JONES, son of Benjamin JONES, whose only info I have is that he immigrated in abt. 1805 to Mobile, AL from England or Wales.Melinda EVANS and Alson Bluford "Gip?" JONES were the parents of William Tunley JONES, (CSA,) who married Martha Ann Caroline Matilda "Caroline" McCARTY, parents of my maternal great grandmother, Rodella "Della" JONES, born in the 1860s in Winn Parish, Louisiana, who married my great grandfather, Cicero Lamkin HATTEN, son of Lawrence M. HATTEN, (CSA/died POW,) (1st husband,) and Frances Ann GRISHAM/GRESHAM who later married 2nd husband, (stepfather of Cicero,) Zachariah Taylor "Zachary/Zack" FAITH.Lawrence M. HATTEN was the son of Frances Lucretia "Patsy" LOTT and William HATTEN, born:January 01, 1800 in Tar River, Nash Co., NC.
