Hello.I am restarting an interest in the combined family of Adam HAWKES and the widow, Mrs. Ann (BROWN) HUTCHINSON in 1631 in Charlestown, MA.I believe they both arrived with the Winthrop Fleet in 1630.
Ann's first husband was Thomas HUTCHINSON who died upon arriving in the Colony. They have 5 children with them;4 sons and one daughter.
Adam and Ann and her children moved to Lynn, MA, and I've seen that they had only 2 children live to adulthood, twins, a son and daughter.
I am trying solve a small, HUTCHINSON mystery, and would like to find out if the descendants of the 5 HUTCHINSON children remained in contact with the descendants of their cousins.Thomas' brother, George HUTCHINSON, traveled with him.George and Margaret (?) HUTCHINSON only had one son, but they had many grandchildren and descendants.George's land was in Charlestown, MA, but it was in the part of Charlestown which became Winchester, MA.The descendants remained in Winchester from the mid-1600's to the mid-1900's.
(I lived on the HUTCHINSON Farms as a child.)
There is some information in the archives of the Mailing Lists and Message Boards atwww.rootsweb.combut very little on Thomas' descendants.
... I just searched the archives of this Board for Adam and discovered there is an association for him and his descendants !I'll try to find out about that web site later in the day.
