The Obit. I posted is a fragment. I don't know how much is missing. He left 10 children, the last of which, Effie Dey, was not born until 7 May,1904,almost five months after he died. There's a lot of information on the Croxdales. I've been to one of their big reunions near Knoxville. My father and their boys followed each other to Knoxville, Mobile.and wherever they could find work during the depression. I have letters Dad wrote home during that time. I was named after Crowell Croxdale, who had a lot of sons in Mobile. I'll post the obituary of my grandmother, Margaret Catherine Croxdale online. EH
