Wife # 1, Catherine 'Heapes' was at 52 Howe St, Everton in 1881 with a baby William (4/12 old).No James in household.There is a birth record for a Wmin Dec Qtr 1880, West Derby which would fit and also a death record Sep Qtr 1882.The William James on the 1891 Census was born March Qtr 1887.
