You didn't give any idea of where they lived but this looks like them to me. ? Carrie is a short form/nickname of Caroline - also I see a death index entry for a Ray Paul with the dates you show and he died LA
1940 ST. CHARLES, LOUISIANA HEBERT
Ray Paul, age 35, clerk, retail grocery, born LA
Carrie, age 35, wife, born LA
Ray Paul, age 11, son born LA
Leonard, age 9,son, born LA
I cannot find them in 1930 BUT there is a Ray Hebert of right age for father.

Zolema, age 47, wife, married at age 21,

Russel, son age 13
Iva, daughter, age 11
Rogers, son age 9
Jessie, daughter age 6
Joyce, daughter age 2-5/12
BLOCK Gloria, granddaughter , age 1-1/2
all are born LA with both parents born LA no wife shown with Ray and no son either and I cannot find Caroline/Carrie, nor son Ray in 1930 ? This fellow does seem possible as in 1940 he is a clerk in retail grocery and in 1930 works in meat market.
I'm still looking for them in 1930 so will let you know what I find , if anything.
