Has anyone had any luck finding the original record from the LDS microfilms for the Emigration of August F Heim (born 28 Aug 1805, in Laudenbach, Mergentheim, Wuerttemberg, Germany)?
The index indicates he and his family (listed below) applied in Oct 1867 and the record is included in LDS film # 838303.The film notes on familysearch.org indicate the title spans three films.
Film 838303 has a date range of 1835 - 1865, so I was not surprised when I didn't find a record for 1867 and did not see any records which appeared to be for "Heim" when I rented it.
Film 838304 has a date range of 1849 - 1902, and although there is at least one record from 1867, it does not appear to me to have any records for "Heim".
I have not ordered or viewed film 838305.That date range is 1870 - 1902, so I'm not hopeful in finding the record there.
I was wondering if anyone had any luck finding the original record in the microfilm already. The records are all hand-written and in German, so it's not the easiest thing to read and search, but I feel I'm up to the challenge of transcription and translation should I be able to find the record.
The individuals who are likely included in the record are: August F Heim born 28 Aug 1805 Sebastian Heim (son) born 1 Nov 1846 Michael Johann Heim (son) born 30 Sept 1849 Mary Anna Heim (daughter) born 30 Sep 1851
The index contains their names, birthdates, birth places, and date of application, but I was hoping the original record had some more information which might be interesting.
