Isaac HENNINGER: He is a native of Dauphin Co., PA, his birth occurring March 10, 1821, he being the son of Sebastian and Barbara HENNINGER, natives respectively of the Keystone State and Germany. --- The lady to whom he was married in April, 1842, was Catherine UMBOLTZ, also a native of PA. She became the mother of seven children , of whom four survive, viz: Sarah, the wife of Lewis SMITH; Amanda, Mrs. William H. MARTIN; Susan, the wife of William PITZCKER; and Isaac. Henry died while a soldier in the Union army. The names of the two other members of the family were Barbara and Catherine. The original of this sketch in 1865 took up his abode in this State, coming direct to this county and locating in Perry Twp. --- In religious affairs our subject is a member of the German Reformed Church, in which body he has occupied the positions of Deacon and Elder.
