I'm trying to determine a connection between an H.S. Henthorn of Belmont Co., Belair OH and a PITNER or MAYBURRY family. The threads are pretty tenuous, but I'm hoping it can lead me to some clues for the Pitner family I've been tryign to trace.
In 1892, a Rev. Henthorn married a George W. Pitner and Mary Ann Aemir McCombs. George was a son-in-law through his first wife, Ella, of a Baptist minister from Wheeling, OH Co, WV, whose name was William Mayburry.(Ella Mayburry Pitner died in 1890)
In the 1910 census for Belmont, Belair Co., there is an H. S. Henthorn, (in his 30s) married, a glass maker born in WV. Living in his home at the time of the census was an Amelia Pitner, age 61.
I'm trying to determine if HS Henthorn of the 1910 census was somehow related to the Rev. Henthorn who married George and Mary in 1890... and whether or not there is a family tie between the Henthorns and Pitners.
