Thanks Beryl for your replies. I havent checked this site for a while as Ive been busy. What I was hoping toconfirm was that the Huytons on sheet number 212(2) of the Scarisbrick 1851 census index were the same family as the children on sheet number 213 as I presume the household address is given. Also interested to find out who else was in the household of William Huyton 75 and Jane Huyton 76 sheet number255(2). I believe this couple are the grandparents of John Huyton age 17 on sheet number 212(2).I think Jane may have been a Molineux so wondered if the Molineux family on sheet number 256 was in the same household. I have found Halsall christening records for John Huyton 3 Jan 1836 which gave his parents place of residence as Scarisbrick, and an Ormskirk marriageJohn Highton/ Elizabeth Scarisbrick 17 Aug 1835.Elizabeth's husband is missing from the Scarisbrick 1851 index so I was trying to discover if he was dead by 1851 but no luck so far. From my other posts you will see I'm chasing Marshalls and now Aughtons as well, having bought the Marshall one name index. All quite fascinating!
