The "white" wife of John Hildebrand was Anna Barbara Eaker Warlick of Lincoln Co., NC, 2nd child of Peter Eaker, Jr. b. 1720 in Alsace (now France) and wife Anna Barbara. She was the mother of one son and 4 daughters by Nicholas Warlick who died at the Battle of Ramsours Mill, Lincolnton, NC in June 1780 and was married to John Hildebrand by October 1781 when he appears with Barbara on Nicholas Warlick's estate records.
She and John moved to Knox co., TN 1794 and they seperated when he assulted Barbara's youngest Warlick daughter. She was still alive and living in Lincoln Co., NC 1804 when she signed documents there.Much can be found on them inKnox Co., TN. John was b. in PA 1755. Barbara was bp. in Lancaster Co., PA 23 Dec.,1749.
