I found a history book at an auction called, "Karl Hildebrand: Family Tree," edited by Katherine Schroeder, printed in Altona, Manitoba, Canada in 1982 by Friesen.
It traces descendants of Peter and Katharina Hildebrand, who came with their 11 oldest children from Russia to Sommerfeld, Manitoba in Nov 1880. Karl, one of their sons was born 1859 and married Maria BERGEN, born 1862 in Russia. After his first wife died, he married Anna DYCK. Karl and his second wife, Anna had 17 (!) children: Peter b&d1885, Anna b. 1886, Peter b.1888, Diedrich b.1889, Katharina b.1891, Karl b.1892, Helena b.1894, Maria b.1895, Elisabeth b.1897, Jacob b.1899, Henry b&d1901, Johan b&d1901, Justina b&d.1902, Aganetha b.1902, Justina b.1904, Susana b.1906, and Sara b.1908. This book traces the families of these siblings in Canada. There were also some family members who went to Paraguay.
Surnames include FRIESEN, ENNS, REMPEL, BERGEN, SCHROEDER, SAWATZKY, HEINRICHS, DYCK, PENNER, HEPPNER, BOEHLER, WIENS, NEUFELD.
The author speculates that Karl is a descendant of Peter and Madalena Hildebrand who migrated from Elbing village Rosenort in 1789 to Chortitzer Colony, South Russia.
