Dear Leonard,I made a connection with a lay in Waco, whose mother is the last surviving child of one` of the children of John Jackson Hinsley and Mary Ann Middlebrook(b.1833,Alabama),daughter of Seaborn Sims Middlebrook.(Is that a great name or what?!) Some slight hesitation on my part, but she believes "Thomas O." is "Thomas A".with correct children;Thomas,Benjamin, and Emily. However real mothers' "S.G. McTeer".(died 1890) Austin County or Fayette County,Texas.Subsequent step mother M.Morgan and her daughter,Gussie.J.J.Hinsley born in Georgia(Atlanta?). I think he is son of John H. and Mary Huff. Possible brother of Wiley Hinsley. I apologize for lack of documentation, some of this off of World GenWeb,FamilySearch Online,(Latter Day Saints'web site) RootsWeb. I'm trying to find out about this McTeer family, rare in Texas when they got married,(1880).(One of the two had to have travelled I surmise) Also I'm trying to leapingly link John Hinsley with a threesome in Chatham County,North Carolina 1760's,named Nathaniel, Thomas and Benjamin. The names of J.J.Hinsley's children(a dozen or so)are all over the web but only a half dozen or less survived. Also I've got(tentatively)the Hinsley name limited to a half dozen villages in England in the 1500's.Just a few bridges and it will become much clearer the general development ofthis clan. Thanks so much for your note, for you are a great encouragement to me.
