Vachel Hinton born about 1735-1737 eara, died in 1825, settled in Mason county Kentucky, part of now Fleming county where he probably died. he and family were in nelson county kentucky around pottingers creeksouthern area by 1791 Vachel Hinton served in the revolutionary war and was an insign in Colvin s company of the virginia militia, he was in nelson co, then fleming co, and returned to maryland to settle affairs then settled permanently in mason county , portion now fleming co. Ky in 1798, Vachel was in Frederick co and montgomery co. maryland also.
