Greetings! I posted the following message to Ancestry.Com in hopes of making contact with relatives and I found my long long lost dear dear Mary Ann! I hope the email addresses are good because I would love to meet my cousin Mary Ann again after nearly 40 years separated!I specifically remember Willie Mae Hitson being mentioned in our family discussions. My Uncle Charles (Charlie) who is 81 and very much alive and oriented knows the connections and whos who in the Eads-Hitson family tree.
I am a direct descendant of Asa Franklin Eads and Mary Miverva Hitson.
Asa Franklin Eads was born in Tennessee in 1852 approx based upon research in the Hickory County, Missouri records. No information on Mary Ann Minerva Hitson. They gave birth to my grandfather Fred Thomas Eads on March 16, 1892 in Hermitage, Missouri. Fred T. Eads married Elsie May Green-Holt his second wife, and they came to California with their 5 boys who were: Harlon Loride Lindell and Arlon Holt, Alfred and Asa Eads (Mary's dad). The marriage of Fred Thomas and Elsie May Green produced two more boys: James Walter Eads (1924-1993) and Charles F. Eads (1925-alive in Camarillo).
I am the first born of their first born son of James Walter Eads who wed Violet J. Mahan (1928-1998) in 1955.(Violet had previous marriage with 1 son David)
James and Violet have 4 children: James W. Eads II (me)April 1956 (2 daughters) Randy Lynn EadsApril 1958(married 1 daughter) Valerie Anne Eads1963(never married/no children) Lisa Elaine Eads1969(married 1 son/1 daughter)
I have family photos and movies.Loride Lindell "Lin" Holt's wife Wilda is still alive in Ventura and has a family Bible with much of the information purportedly written in it! I am going to go visit and get what I can.
Regards to the Eads and Hitson family tree! James W. "Jim" Eads Simi Valley, CA firstname.lastname@example.org
PS-I went to a funeral and found more cousins on the Frances Eads Hooper side!
