HITT-BROWNAt the home of C.M. Brown, Wednesday, Aug 28, 1907, Mr. Blair Hitt and Miss Agnes Brown. It was a home wedding with a large company of relatives and invited friends present to witness the ceremony.Rev. Harry Wilson, an uncle of the bride, assisted by Dr. Longren, spoke the words which made the young couple man and wife.The groom and his brother Glenn Hitt, as best man, took their place to the left of the minister and the bride came down the stairs preceded by Elizabeth Dwyer as ring bearer and Miss Bessie Wilson and Miss Kate Warner as brides maids.After congratulations a dainty lunch was served.The presents were many and beautiful.The young couple took the afternoon train for Brush where they will make their future home. Helen Brown played the wedding march. The bride has grown up a truly Longmont girl, always a favorite in the social circle and she leaves a multitude of friends who regret the loss as well as congratulate the bridegroom’s gain.Mr. Hitt is well know in Longmont, but his home is at Brush.He is a young gentleman of exemplary habits.May their future be a bright as their hopes.
