This is definitely the same Hodge family.Wallace was the baby of the family and he appears in the the census records through 1930 (1900 Fannin County, Texas; 1910 Hunt County, Texas; 1920 and 1930 Oklahoma City, OK).I had information that Robert's father was William F. Hodge, but I have not recently researched the census records to confirm this. We have also heard that Evarena was part Indian, but we do not have records to confirm this.
My primary interest recently has been in finding information about Thomas who was my mother's half-brother.My mother died in 1991 without finding much information about her half-brother, although she had been told by her uncle Joe Hodge in about 1950 that her half- brother's name was Tom and that he was living in the Ft. Worth area.
I recently found Wallace's divorce papers fromhis first wife which gave the name of his two children by his first wife:Thomas Miller Hodge and Mary Olive Hodge.Thomas and Mary were 4 and 2 years old, respectively, when the divorce occurred in 1918.There is a rumor that Mary Olive Hodge died in childhood, which rumor is somewhat supported by the fact that Wallace later named a daughter Mary Jane.
My mother and her sisters renewed their connections to Henry Hodge's children in the 1980's.Through this connection, she was able to get a photo of Wallace - the first one I ever saw.My Aunt Katherine still occasionally talks to Henry's daughter Violet on the telephone.
I have collected a lot of documents and photos and will gladly send you a CD with my Hodge files on it if you send me your addresses - home and e-mail. Please send me an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
