Since I have posted that message in 2008, there have been a number of changes to my family file. The father of Russell Hodge was William A. Hodge. There were a number of other children to William. His wife's name was Huldah, but that is all I have on William A.I do not know who his parents were. Here is his children information.
William A. Hodge was in Baldwinsville/Lysander in 1820, but in 1830, he was in Granby. His children lived in the Granby and Baldwinsville area and many died in that area and are buried in the Chase cemetery.
Mary Hodge, William's daughter, maried Thomas Gibbs and probably lived with him and the children there most of their lives.
Huldah Hodge maried Peter F. Wood and lived most of their lives in Lysander and are buried in Chase cemetery.
Lucy Hodge was born in probably Granby, Oswego County and moved to Ira and married a Baldwin and lived her life in either Granby or Baldwinsville. She is buried in Chase cemetery along with Elizabeth Gibbs who lived most of her life with Lucy.I am not sure of the reason for this.
George Hodge was born in Onondaga County but lived and died in Ira, Cayuga County.
William W. Hodge married Mary Teller (from Ira) was born in Otisco, Onondaga County, but as a young boy moved to Granby and then to Ira with his older brother, George, and mother and then later as a young man moved ot Minnesota and died there.
Russell Hodge married Mary Cunningham (probably from Oswego) was born in Onondaga, County, probably moved to Granby with his father William and lived in Oswego, Oswego County for many years before moving with his son Charles R. Hodge to Minnesota and then to Illinois. He died in Illinois.
